I love Amazon. For so many reasons.

Usually so helpful.
But I feel sorry for authors who get 1 star reviews because a customer received a damaged book. That’s not the author’s fault, and there’s nothing they can do about it.
It also offers no value to people reading the reviews.
And… of all the places to complain about a damaged book, Amazon is not one of them. Simply contact Amazon support and they’ll send you another one. I’ve had this happen a few times over the last decade, and Amazon have always looked after me.
